Just thought I'd share this with you. It's my favoritest self portrait ever. I experimented with a lot of stuff on this one. I think one of the reasons I like it so much is because I wasn't expecting to come out this well. I was bored one day and just started taking pictures of myself. I'm actually right in front of my window--in the original you could see the blinds. In fact, I think I'll show you the original!

So how do you do that?
I used Photoshop. First, I used the healing brush, then I ran an action to play with the curves and hue/saturation, then used yet another action (they simplify things for me) to add the texture layer. I brushed over the areas I didn't want the texture to show up (face and hair) then adjusted the opacity of the layer.
Actions Used: Bea's Portrait Punch (I only used part of it, I think.) and Mulletgod's Texturise.
I wish you lived closer and could show me how to do this. Of course, we only have Photoshop Elements....but I just haven't had time to figure out how to use the thing!
